You've gotten several suggestions, but, have you tried to x-fer the
text file as ascii instead of binary? Most ftp software will auto-
convert text files to the proper line terminations. That is part of
the reason why one has to designate binary for binary files,
otherwise it is "converted".
Another option is to set up and use c-kermit + kermit/95 to x-fer the
file. It will most definitely auto-convert text to the proper line
terminations based on OS. For more on The Kermit Project:
